The Power of Action

📌

READY FOR ANOTHER ROUND?

Today, on International Women’s Day, we celebrate the brilliance, resilience, and leadership of women across every industry.

In foodservice & hospitality, Black women continue to shape kitchens, strategy, operations, and innovation. Their impact is undeniable yet their access, visibility, and representation still require intentional effort.

At The Re-Seasoning Coalition, we believe industry change starts with industry action.

It’s why we're hosting Hire Her, Too on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Revival Event Venue in Toronto.

Following the success of Hire Her last November, Hire Her, Too builds space for Black women in foodservice to connect directly with employers, expand their professional networks, and strengthen pathways to leadership and opportunities for economic advancement. It’s about creating real access, nurturing real relationships, and spurring the type of progress that communities within and outside of foodservice will benefit from. This is our approach to creating a future we can be proud of.

International Women’s Day is about honouring women’s contributions.
Hire Her, Too is about ensuring those contributions are recognized, supported, and advanced.

We invite you to join us as we continue building an industry where Black women thrive. Together, we can change the recipe for equity in foodservice!

December 2025 A Note About 2025, Annus Fabulous 2025 was a monumental year for TRSC. It was perhaps our most important since 2020 when Philman and I decided to stay on the phone and continue chatting about putting together a project to change the recipe for equity in the foodservice industry. November 2025 WHAT A NIGHT! The energy was unforgettable. Last Tuesday, we gathered for the first Hire Her: Black Women in Foodservice Networking Mixer, powered by Sysco and Kraft Heinz Canada. The evening was filled with intention, purpose, and community as Black women across the foodservice industry came together to connect, share, and celebrate leadership. We saw the impact of giving students, mid-career professionals, entrepreneurs, and career changers the opportunity to bet on themselves...
